MOTEURS FOX History: Decades of Tradition and Innovation.
The François ODOUX-LEFEBVRE company, founded in 1897 and based in TOURCOING, is a leader in the manufacturing of electrical machines. Since its inception, it has strived to innovate and anticipate the needs of the global market by adapting its productions, notably with the popularization of fractional horsepower motors after World War II. In 1949, it launched a new range of motors under the brand "MOTEURS FOX", meeting both industrial and domestic requirements. Over the decades, the company has broadened its product range, introducing innovations such as the AS series of electric motors. In 1964, it began producing and selling warning sirens, with the MONICA and PAKITA models, the latter becoming predominant in the market. Since then, the company has continued to evolve, investing in research and development to meet the changing needs of the industry and the public, with a new generation of electronic motors. Today, led by the Odoux family, the company continues its commitment to providing high-quality products, especially the renowed PAKITA electromechanical sirens, which have been selected by France for its national alert network.
